Sunbelt Rentals needs a Yard Associate who stations equipment, inspects rentals, and supports safe operations across indoor and outdoor work areas.
This Yard Associate position maintains equipment readiness at the rental location. You will retrieve and station equipment, document damage, and maintain written schedules. The work suits candidates with mechanical aptitude, construction tool experience, and effective customer communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Station and retrieve equipment across the location's property
- Maintain written equipment maintenance schedules
- Service equipment as necessary to meet specifications
- Inspect equipment before and after rental
- Document lost or damaged equipment accurately
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Construction or industrial tool experience preferred
- Mechanical equipment repair experience or training preferred
- Effective written and oral customer communication
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
