AtkinsRéalis is dedicated to engineering a better future for our planet and its people.We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Analysis who specializes in Mechanical Design Analysis, providing technical and operational leadership, having superior client relations skills and a proven ability to deliver major assignments.Your role within the teamAs a member of our Reactor & Major Components - Analysis team, you will:Lead a team to complete the design analysis of CANDU reactor components, systems and structures including Mechanical equipment.Perform engineering calculations to support design nuclear pressure boundary components.Prepare formal technical reports.Review design documents, calculations, and analysis reports.Prepare engineering budgets and support proposal preparation.Execute engineering activities within budget and schedule.Provide accurate reporting of engineering work to technical and project managers.Provide prompt response and engineering resolutions on any critical engineering related matters.Perform engineering work following AtkinsRéalis/Candu Energy Quality Assurance programs, and applicable codes, standards, and regulation requirements.Coordinate and interface with clients, suppliers, stakeholders, and other design disciplines or departments to execute assigned engineering work.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?
