Job Description This is a term position for 6 months starting January 2026. The role is part of the Integrated Facility Management (IFM) team, focusing on innovation, social good and advancing services safely. Employees may work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement. Key Responsibilities Maintain relationships with all external and internal stakeholders through effective communication practices. Identify HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) risks, problems and issues early; ensure mitigating actions are in place to minimize impact. Effectively communicate HSEQ expectations to stakeholders in a timely, professional manner on an ongoing basis. Provide necessary training resources, leadership, organization and control to meet the company’s HSEQ goals. Manage and measure the HSEQ program performance to achieve targeted business output and improvement levels, and share results with required stakeholders. Prepare and present monthly HSE statistics for analysis to the National HSE Manager. Manage the functioning of the health and safety program, including maintaining applicable documentation, establishing performance measures, and analyzing and reporting on program results and trends. Manage and coordinate with Disability Management on any injury claims. Ensure each level of management is properly informed of all activities relative to compliance with company safety policies and communications. Maintain and manage the HSEP (Health and Safety Excellence Program). Qualifications University degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline, with at least five (5) years of related experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Successful completion of post‑secondary education from an accredited university or college. Valid driver’s license. Ability to demonstrate the application of risk assessment to company operations and activities. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft programs (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience in health and safety operations within the United States is considered a valuable asset. Bilingual in either English/French or English/Spanish is an asset. Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) or Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) is an asset.
