Our Community Support Services (CSS) team provides essential services that enable our clients to thrive. Whether their disability is physical, the result of brain injury, or aging, our more than 2,000 team members assist clients in their homes and across communities, to live as independently as possible. The opportunity: defendantKnown internally as Support Service Attendant, we have one new opportunity for a Full‑Time Rehabilitation Worker in Greater Victoria, BC. Flexible schedule: Monday to Friday, day shifts and no weekends or stat holidays. Starting wage: $21.58 per hour. Hours: 14 to 20 hours per week. Responsibilities: Implement individualized support services plans within the home and/or community for adults with acquired brain injury (ABI). Assist individuals with ABI with support from Senior Rehabilitation Worker in simple instrumental activities of daily living, cognitive and problem‑solving skills, community orientation and integration. Provide services on a flexible basis during weekday business hours. Reporting responsibilities including daily log note recording, incident reports, and verbal reports as required. Participate in training as required. Follow policies and procedures as required. Qualifications and experience: Post‑secondary education preferred in Human and Social Services but minimum of Grade 12. Proven consistency in work performance, including reliability and flexibility. Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Sound behavioral management skills and cognitive problem‑solving skills. Proven teamwork abilities. Working knowledge of ABI and rehabilitation. Ability to effectively provide support with behavioral situations. Ability to speak, read, and write English.
