Continuous Improvement Manager

One of our clients in GTA region is looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager for their facility.Key ResponsibilitiesLead continuous improvement projects across mixing, proofing, baking, packaging, and distribution processes.Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, waste, and performance gaps.Implement Lean manufacturing tools (5S, VSM, Kaizen, SMED) to improve plant efficiency.Standardize processes, develop SOPs, and ensure adherence across all shifts.Partner with QA, Maintenance, Production, and Sanitation teams to enhance product quality and reduce downtime.Support automation initiatives and evaluate new production technologies.Train supervisors and operators on CI methodologies and problem-solving techniques.Conduct root-cause analysis for defects, quality issues, and equipment-related losses.Monitor KPIs such as yield, OEE, scrap, downtime, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.Drive a culture of continuous improvement through coaching and on-floor engagement.Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Science, Operations, or related field.3–5+ years CI/Lean experience in the food manufacturing industry.Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher preferred).Proficiency in data analysis, process mapping, and project management.Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
