Please note that artificial intelligence tools are utilized in the applicant screening process.Pay range is $66,500 to $88,600As a Proposal Manager, you will drive the success of our bids by combining creativity, analytical thinking, and expert bid management. You will lead the proposal process from strategy to submission, ensuring our responses are compelling, compliant, and competitive.Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Proposal Managers, we’d ask you to do the following for us:Analyze RFPs and previous proposals to identify winning themes and strategies.Evaluate client requirements, competitor positioning, and scoring criteria to maximize proposal effectiveness.Project Planning: Develop and manage detailed bid schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams—including sales, business development, finance, and subject matter experts—by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and facilitating regular status meetings.Compliance & Quality Control: Review all proposal components for compliance with RFP requirements and implement quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistencyConduct post-bid reviews to capture lessons learned and continuously improve bid processes and outcomes.Support with writing original, persuasive content for proposals, using storytelling and visual elements to engage evaluators.Help develop graphics and data visualizations to enhance proposal impact.Design and update proposal templates and tools to streamline future bid efforts and maintain consistency.Think you have what it takes to be ourProposal Manager? Here’s how we’ll know you’ll be successful in the role:Minimum 2 years’ experience in professional writing and managing multiple, concurrent bids in fast-paced environments, including public and private sector RFP/RFI responses.Demonstrated ability to lead proposal kick-off meetings, develop compliance matrices, and oversee the end-to-end bid process.Strong creative, analytical, and organizational skills, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, winning proposals on time.Advanced proficiency in MS Office, InDesign, and proposal management software; bilingual reading and writing is an asset.Compass Group Canada is committed to nurturing a diverse workforce representative of the communities within which we operate.
