Process Owners – Finance Shared Services (FSS) under the Operations Process Engineering group supports the Financial Operations centre that performs day‑to‑day execution of finance related processes such as reconciliations, vendor invoice payments, journal entry postings, finance application, and cost allocation services. The objective of the Process Owners team is to reimagine and redesign the work done for FSS, by standardizing, simplifying and automating the processes within the broader team. Success is delivering transformational changes that achieve measurable improvements in both process efficiency and employee satisfaction. Job Description The Manager, Process Owner – Global Reconciliation Services (GRS) is responsible for the design, maintenance and continuous improvement of GRS processes, reducing risk and enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of reconciliation processes. This individual will also optimize and transform operational processes through strategic initiatives with a risk mitigation mindset and deliver strategic insights to business partners. What will you do? Perform full analysis and execution of process reviews (detailed data-based analysis, root cause identification, process mapping, controls identification, gap analysis, recommendations, implementation, documentation) to eliminate unnecessary steps and improve overall performance of reconciliations Identify opportunities for efficiencies, including optimization and transformation through more effective use of enablers/levers around AI and automation Implement automation and technology solutions (e.g., VBA) and/or work with IT partners to streamline processes and eliminate non-value added activities Anticipate operational risks and issues and track to resolution Design and document internal controls to mitigate risks identified through process reviews Promote innovative or improved methods to achieve targets Collaborate with business partners, colleagues and stakeholders to strengthen relationships and implement business solutions and best practices Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation Prioritize improvement opportunities for greatest impact, based on continuous oversight of quality, escalations, and stakeholder feedback Raise, track and work to the resolution of issues/conflicts; elevate to others as appropriate Assess ambiguous situations and provide clarity to stakeholders as required What do you need to succeed? Must have University degree or equivalent experience (Business / Accounting preferred) 3-5 years experience with E2E process review, process mapping, documentation, and remediation planning 2+ years experience in the general ledger reconciliation environment Project management and planning skills Strong oral and written communication skills Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills Confidence in decision making and strategic planning Sense of urgency with ability to handle multiple demands Strong Excel skills and PowerPoint skills Critical thinking Solid knowledge of implementing Controls and Risk assessment frameworks Change management minded Strong understanding of TLM (Transactional Life cycle Management) application Nice to have Experience with large data VBA Excel knowledge SOX Controls knowledge to meet process requirements Financial reporting cycle experience Operational/process background with exposure to LSS (Lean Six Sigma) or process re‑engineering preferred Interest in AI solutions applied to process optimization What’s in it for you?
