Volunteer Experience · Work Experience · Work & CareerLaugh and Learn Children Centre is seeking a F/T Early Childhood Program Supervisor.– Position: Early Childhood Program Supervisor– Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent– Wage: $26.00~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)– Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week– Number of Positions: 1– Work Location: 101 – 335 Carnarvon Street, New Westminster, BC V3L 1B9Benefits:4% vacation payJob Duties:– Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs and preparing crafts– Develop and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children– Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs and taking children to local points of interest– Guide children the development of healthy eating, proper dressing and toilet habits– Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children– Maintain an environment to protect health, security and well-being of children– Co-ordinate and supervise activities of other ECE teachers, ECE assistants and volunteers– Prepare reports for parents or supervisor regarding potential learning or behavioral problems– Assist early childhood educators in keeping records– Establish guidelines for behavior at the team meeting, and discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings– Maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and any community service providers working with children– Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors– Manage inventory and order supplies and equipment when it requiresJob requirements:– Language: English– Experience: Experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset– Education: College Certificate or diploma in early childhood education is required– Certificate: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, ECE CertificateHow to Apply:– Company information: Laugh and Learn Children Centre Ltd.– Email address: madelynb2206@gmail.com– Please apply via Email indicated aboveWe're here to help.
