GardaWorld seeks experienced Loss Prevention Officers for retail security services in Sudbury. The hands-on position involves covert surveillance, investigating theft, fraud, and organized retail crime, plus preparing detailed reports. Candidates need professionalism, sound judgment, and communication skills while working independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct covert surveillance across retail sales floors and high-risk areas
- Investigate shoplifting, fraud, theft, and organized retail crime
- Verify merchandise leaving stores was properly purchased
- Complete audits, inspections, and detailed investigative reports
- Safely apprehend and arrest individuals when legally warranted
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of Loss Prevention experience
- Valid Ontario Private Investigator Licence or willingness to obtain one
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
