Responsibilities Perform all operational functions according to St. Clair Ethanol EH&S standards and Standard Operating procedures (SOPs) Work on a crew covering a qualified post within an operating unit Operate the process equipment in a safe, efficient manner according to established practices, procedures and operating guidelines Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to maintain process equipment Monitor the operation and equipment for deviations Monitor and adjust equipment and process variables to maintain a safe and environmentally sound operation and to ensure product quality Actively participate in the CCA program on site Mechanical aptitude to allow hands-on operation of plant equipment Qualifications Experience and Education: Two or more years of process industry experience College diploma in Chemical Production and Power Engineering Technologist Completed 3rd Class, or 2nd Class ticket would be preferred Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Attach your TSSA operating tickets with your application in order to be considered Strong analytical, troubleshooting and decision-making skills Ability to work and communicate in a team environment, with strong verbal, written and communication skills Location and other Key Details You will work out of our Ethanol facility in Ontario, located at 535 Rokeby Line, Mooretown, ON The position will be on a rotational shift schedule to support 24/7 operations of the facility You may be required to work overtime to support operational needs This position is safety sensitive The position may require some physical work such as lifting, using ladders, working on elevated work sites and working outdoors Why Suncor?
