OverviewThales Canada Defence & Security (TCDS) seeks a Manager, Cybersecurity located in Fredericton, N.B. The role is hybrid and reports to the Director of Engineering. Key ResponsibilitiesLead a distributed team of cyber specialists, managing resources for bids, projects and products.Plan the team’s short, medium and long‑term workload, supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management, career and succession planning.Coach, mentor and develop the team to meet company expectations for productivity, chargeability, quality and continuous improvement.Ensure company policies and procedures are followed, including timesheets, time off and travel.Establish, standardize and evolve processes, procedures and tooling for the Cybersecurity discipline, ensuring alignment with current and future needs.Prepare bid, project and product estimates for the Cybersecurity discipline.Apply Cybersecurity across other engineering and non‑engineering disciplines, ensuring compliance with Thales Cybersecurity requirements.Perform Cybersecurity work on bids, projects and products. Minimum QualificationsCollege or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience leading a Cybersecurity team.Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a budget and people.Experience with SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Protection, Firewall/IDS/IPS, IAM, Encryption, DLP, Threat Intelligence, Forensics, Network Monitoring, Penetration Testing.Experience with ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
