Our team in Canada is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join our Mining Team in the Burlington office.

About the role

Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements. 

· Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements.

· Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.

· Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Principal Draftsperson, and communicating issues in a timely manner.

· Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.

About you:

· Advanced diploma or equivalent in mechanical engineering technology

·  5+ years of relevant experience in Mechanical design.

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of multi-functional project teams is a must.

· Experience with precious metals

· Extensive experience with Autodesk Products, AutoCAD 2D and 3D and Plant3D.

· Smartplant experience an asset

· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, are essential.

· The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
