Our employees own the company and thrive in a flexible work life balance. Job Description We are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Rossland or Kelowna office. The role involves designing, inspecting, and managing structural projects ranging from industrial foundations to large heavy‑industry structures. Overview The successful candidate will have university level understanding of concrete and steel design. You will work on a range of projects of varying complexity, construction value, and procurement stages, delivering solutions under limited supervision. Primary Responsibilities Conduct structural inspections for industrial projects and work on site in plants or construction sites as necessary. Design equipment foundations and support structures. Make technical decisions with limited information. Estimate and prepare engineering proposals. Ensure projects stay on task, budget, and schedule. Approve and stamp own project design and reports, and review work of engineers in training. Represent the company in client presentations and meetings. Qualifications 5 years of engineering experience. Registered P.Eng or able to register in BC. Strong motivation and excellent interpersonal and English communication skills. Commitment to outstanding client service. Highly organized with flexibility to manage multiple tasks. Passion for the profession and results‑driven practices. Occasional on‑site work in industrial plants or construction sites. The Following Qualifications And Experience Would Be An Advantage Knowledge of Canadian codes and standards. Design experience in heavy industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Substation design. Proficiency in SAP 2000 or similar software. Working knowledge of good design practices. Salary Expected salary $90,000 to $125,000 based on experience and equity policies. Benefits Comprehensive group benefits from day one for full‑time employees. Flexible health and dental care.
