Responsibilities Operating an AZ class roll‑off truck to transport metal materials to and from designated locations, ensuring compliance with traffic laws and company policies Safely loading and unloading metal materials onto the truck using appropriate equipment and securing the load to prevent shifting or damage during transit Performing manual tarping if necessary Performing routine pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the truck, ensuring that it is in good working condition Completing accurate and thorough records of deliveries and any other required documentation Qualifications Valid AZ driver’s license with a clean CVOR and driver’s abstract Experience driving an 18‑speed manual transmission (required) Minimum of 2 years of experience as an AZ driver Previous experience operating a roll‑off truck (preferred) Customer service‑oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skills Good communication skills in both French and English Good physical stamina and ability to perform loading and unloading activities as required Familiarity with metal recycling processes and materials (asset) Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Management Industry Utilities Location Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Salary $28.84/hour after 3 months Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at American Iron & Metal (AIM) by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
