OverviewRegistered Nurse (RN) – Labor & DeliveryLocation: Vernon, British ColumbiaShifts: Flexible (Day, Evening, Night, Weekends)Hours: 80 hours biweekly (Full-time)Pay Range: $50 CAD – $61 CAD per hourContract Duration: 3 months with possible extensionJob SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery team in Vernon, BC. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for families.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum.Monitor maternal and fetal health, perform assessments, and respond to emergencies.Assist with deliveries, including vaginal and cesarean sections.Administer medications and pain management interventions as prescribed.Educate and support patients and families on newborn care and postpartum recovery.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols.QualificationsCurrent RN license with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or Obstetrics preferred.Certifications Required: BLS (Basic Life Support)NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)FHS (Fetal Health Surveillance)Perinatal Nursing Certification (preferred)Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under pressure.Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills.RequirementsFlexible availability for rotating shifts.Physical ability to perform nursing duties.Commitment to patient safety and quality standards.BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay: $50– $61 CAD.OT X1.5Travel AccommodationProfessional development and training opportunities.To apply, please attach your updated resume and send it to robin.singh@russelltobin.com. #J-18808-Ljbffr
