OverviewPosition: SENIOR WATER RESOURCES ENGINEERID No: 14-1522Location: SudburyDescriptionThe successful candidate will play a key role in design and project management within MPE’s Water Resources team. Experience in project management, project design and construction contract administration in the following areas of practice is desired: Hydropower development, water management, irrigation development, water control structures, dam safety, flood mitigation, drainage, pipelines and river engineering.ResponsibilitiesStaff coordination, supervision, mentoring, and management of junior engineers and technologists,Preparing planning reports, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents,Performing general supervision duties, andWorking closely with our clients to ensure their project objectives are met.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an applicable technical degreeRegistered with a Canadian Engineering AssociationPreference will be given to applicants with 8 years or more experienceThis position is open to various locations in OntarioApplicationInterested individuals should submit their resume and cover letter to: Mr. Jeff Olitch, P.Eng., V.P.
