Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and analytical Technical Product Manager with a strong focus on data to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing data-driven products and solutions that address the complex challenges of the waste management industry. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data science, engineering, operations, and customer success, to create products that provide actionable insights and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for data-driven solutions in alignment with company goals and market needs. Data Utilization: Leverage data analytics and machine learning to develop innovative products that optimize waste management processes and enhance decision-making. Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for innovation in waste management. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and operations teams to ensure successful product development, launch, and adoption. Agile Development: Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle, including defining user stories, prioritizing features, and facilitating sprint planning. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams, to gather feedback and insights for continuous product improvement. Performance Tracking: Define KPIs and metrics to measure product performance and success, and use data to inform future product iterations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred. 3+ years of experience in product management, preferably within the waste management or data analytics industries. Strong understanding of data analytics, machine learning, and data visualization tools. Proficiency in product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau). Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive product decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate product vision to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
