Job Summary
The Engineering Intern is responsible for providing support for the QRC across order acquisition and production. This includes creating as-found and as-built documentation, project BOMs for replacement parts, working to standardize current forms and templates (as well as the creation of new ones), and assisting with CIP projects as required. The position reports to the Sub-Regional Customer Service Manager and will be located on-site at the Leduc QRC facility.
This role will be assigned to our Leduc, AB facility.
Work schedule can be part time or full time, depending on candidate's availability.
Responsibilities
· Create as-built documentation such as as-built clearance reports and compiling customer QA packages for completed repair projects
· Execute internal documentation requests (“DocTrack Requests”) placed on the QRC from other Flowserve facilities
· Create repair BOMs specifying replacement parts for active repair projects and send RFQs to sub-suppliers to obtain price and delivery
· Create as-found documentation such as clearance reports and as-found reports
· Create new forms and templates to standardize/optimize QRC documentation as required
· Assist in the completion of CIP project(s) as required
· Provide general support as required for the QRC operation
Requirements
· Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Math or Science.
· Availability for a 4-month or 8-month minimum work term.
