Our software is developed by small, focused agile teams of developers and SDETs. Challenge yourself by learning new technologies, and apply your skills across our different projects and application domains. If you are committed to code that is clean, well-tested, well-reviewed, performant and secure then you’ll fit in around here.ResponsibilitiesProduce clean, well-tested, well-reviewed, performant, and secure codeCollaborate with SDETs in ensuring the quality of your codeProduce design artifacts and spikes and provide feedback on system architecture relating to features being worked onParticipate in design review, code review, sprint planning, and other Agile artifactsCollaborate with Product Management on user story generation and refinementMonitor and support operations of our systems in productionContribute to knowledge sharing activities with colleaguesTake initiative to identify and solve important problems, coordinating with others on cross-cutting technical issuesMentor Junior and Intermediate developers via pairing, design review, and code reviewInstill a spirit of continuous improvement in the team’s code, architecture, and processesAbout you8+ years of .NET software development experience, shipping enterprise grade software in an Agile environmentPredominantly product (non-project) focused development experience, demonstrating ownership of a software product and a deep understanding of the language, frameworks, tools and technologies used with itExperience with C#, .NET (Core), SQL, REST, JSONExperience designing and developing enterprise grade, reliable, and scalable applications and micro servicesAPI development experience in service and resource-oriented architecturesExperience with testing frameworks like MSTest, NUnit, xUnit, NSubstituteStrong communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skillsExperience mentoring Junior and Intermediate developersExperience with any of the following is considered an asset:JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js, React.js, Ext JSOther databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aerospike, CockroachDBEvent streaming platforms like KafkaRemote Procedure Call frameworks like Thrift, WCF, gRPCContainerization technologies like Docker, OpenShift, KubernetesContinuous integration systems like JenkinsCode security and code quality analyzers like SonarQube, XRayCompensationGlobal Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia’s pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values.
