Environmental Services Manager – Aspira Bearbrook Retirement Living As a temporary full‑time role, you will lead environmental services across housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance to deliver an exceptional experience for residents and staff at Sienna Senior Living. What We Offer A competitive salary and vacation package Health & dental benefits program RRSP with employer match Share Ownership and Reward Program (SOAR) Employee Share Purchase Plan with company match Continuous learning and growth opportunities A welcoming culture that values diversity and differing perspectives What You Will Be Doing Oversee the environmental services of the retirement home Plan, coordinate, direct, and monitor the effectiveness of all activities within housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance departments Hire, onboard, orient, train, schedule, supervise, and offer feedback/coaching to team members to uphold Aspira standards Manage departmental budgets, ensuring adequate resources and equipment through budget preparation, maintenance, and staffing Ensure the building, furnishings, and fixtures are maintained in a clean, sanitary, and well‑repaired condition Manage upkeep of external grounds and supervise the waste management program Ensure linen and residents' personal clothing are laundered timely and efficiently Assist in implementing the fire safety program Manage the quality assurance program for housekeeping, maintenance, and laundry services, reporting feedback to the General Manager Oversee and manage the routine and preventative maintenance program for the home Who You Are Hold a degree or diploma from a post‑secondary institution, with relevant background and experience in environmental services Successfully completed Fire Safety planning training for owners/operators per provincial regulations Possess a background in the building trades; ability to read and interpret building prints/drawings considered advantageous Bring at least two years of supervisory/management experience with a focus on housekeeping, laundry, or maintenance Strong people skills to guide, motivate, and supervise a diverse team while delegating tasks effectively Patient, understanding, and able to connect with residents and families Quick thinker, adaptable, resolving issues efficiently Effective organization and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks, manage budgets, and ensure smooth departmental operations What You Need To Know Sienna Senior Living is committed to creating an inclusive environment where all team members and residents feel they belong You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and/or Criminal Record Check applicable to the appropriate province #J-18808-Ljbffr
