You will be working for one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers and will play a key role in our surgical theatre team. Key Responsibilities Ensure patients scheduled for surgery have fully understood potential risks and benefits of treatment. Lead the team in completing all Patient Journeys with the utmost care, empathy and service excellence. Prepare patient files before the treatment day to minimise complications, cancellations or postponements, recognising patient suitability. Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to address outstanding issues prior to surgery. Discharge patients after surgery with prescribed medication, advice, emergency contact information, and arrange appropriate follow‑up care. Preferred Skills & Experience 12 months post‑registration experience. Passion for developing a career in Ophthalmology. Ability to absorb and convey highly technical information. Adaptable and flexible working approach. Excellent time‑management and organisational skills, with keen attention to detail. Commitment to confidentiality, integrity and discretion. Salary & Benefits Salary up to £35,374 per annum, full‑time 40 hours a week. Day shifts from 7.30am‑5.30pm. 25 days holiday (33 days including bank holidays), increasing with length of service.
