The Opportunity KBR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Asset Optimisation Manager to support our Capability Sustainment team in support of Maritime Sustainment for the Royal Australian Navy. All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Negative Vetting 1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply. Responsibilities Implement and maintain currency of the Asset Management Plan and procedures for delivery of integrated asset management activities. Contribute to the development, implementation, and improvement of a robust Asset Management System by providing professional advice and technical recommendations as an SME. Deliver and maintain the integrated Asset Management Services Master Schedule. Direct the Reliability program, Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) program and Maintenance Effectiveness program. Direct and oversee the development of Life Cycle Cost analyses, asset optimisation studies and recommendations for cost reduction whilst maintaining agreed levels of reliability and availability. Drive Enterprise risk management and assurance activities across the program. Drive Capability Innovation and Efficiency initiatives and Sustainment Performance Analysis across the Program. As a key member of the program’s Leadership Team, interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in developing and delivering platform sustainment optimisation recommendations within a balanced project budget. Essential Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or equivalent, qualification in a recognised related discipline. 5+ years of relevant experience in project management, asset optimisation, and maritime sustainment within the Defence domain. ILS and LSA training and optimisation. Risk Management experience. Deep understanding of DSWmS Framework. Project and Contract Management. Leadership of a multi‑discipline team.
