LEADING AT MONTROSE
The Senior Vice President - Engineering and Consulting Canada at Montrose Environmental Group (MEG) is responsible for the strategic leadership, growth and operational performance of the business. This key leadership role will be a member of the Engineering & Consulting Senior Leadership Team across Canada, the US, and Australia, with the shared mandate to scale the environmental engineering and consulting businesses as one fully integrated organization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop a vision that promotes the overall success of the MEG Engineering and Consulting Canada business through the collaboration of operational and technical teams.
  • Execute a strategic plan consistent with MEG's strategy, and establish/meet division metrics in partnership with the Segment President.
  • Position MEG as the technical leader in the industry by inspiring thought leadership, a focus on technical quality, and innovation.
  • Clearly communicate priorities and align resources to drive operational performance to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Conduct Talent Reviews and build the subsequent development and succession plans.
  • Engage with, communicate regularly with and develop talent across the engineering and consulting business.
  • Partner closely with our MEG Sales Team to accelerate organic growth through a strong client portfolio and strategic client selection.
  • Deliver operational excellence through consistent project delivery and quality and strong resource management practices.
  • Lead the operational and cultural integration of new acquisitions to ensure a seamless entry into Montrose.
  • Foster a high-performance culture through highly visible leadership that embraces continuous improvement and promotes inclusive behavior.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety leadership, prioritizing keeping people safe above all else and ensure exceptional safety performance.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology or related.
  • 20+ years of experience in high-end environmental engineering or consulting.
  • Demonstrated leadership, business acumen, and employee development success.
  • Experience leading growing organizations ($50M+ revenue and double-digit revenue growth).
  • Strong continuous improvement skillset and ability to identify needs and execute strategies.
  • Outstanding communicator with the ability to motivate others to achieve established business objectives.
  • Strong people developer with focus on building talent and succession planning.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability/willingness to travel as required to drive business growth.

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $300,000 to $375,000, starting pay is dependent on multiple factors.
