Job Code: 20387 Status: Temporary Casual (up to 18 months) Location: Providence Care Hospital Union: OPSEU 4104 Paramedical Wage: $30.49 - $35.15 Posting Period: January 03, 2026 - January 09, 2026 The Medical Laboratory Technician is primarily responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient collection of client specimens from the point of initial contact with the client to data entry, phlebotomy, and to the final preparation of specimens for transportation. These procedures do not require interpretation assessment or the exercise of independent judgment. The procedures are performed under the direct supervision of the Medical Laboratory Technologist.
