You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, functional specifications, and design documents. Your role will include creating all test artifacts in line with quality standards, ensuring that the product or application meets established quality criteria, including reliability, usability, and performance.Tasks and responsibilities:Leads & directs all the efforts of QA team.Creates test artifacts (Test strategy, Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Closure).Defines, implements, and enforces departmental QA policies, guidelines, standards, and procedures.Identifies testing strategy for the project, testing scope, and coordinates with teams for QA environment needs and readiness.Participates in internal reviews of test cases.Executes test plans, test cases, and scripts.Reviews requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.QualificationsWhat Sets You ApartBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent experience in software development.10+ years in Quality Assurance (QA)5+ years in software testingExperience in the retail industry (asset)Strong knowledge of SQL queries and relational databasesSolid understanding of the software development lifecycleExpertise in QA methodologies, tools, and processesProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel)Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilityAdditional InformationWhat Sets Us ApartRemote work modelA competitive benefits package (Full-Time Employees Only)Paid Time Off (Sick Time, Flex Days & Vacation) (Full-Time Employees Only)Additional benefits include opportunities for advancement and tuition reimbursement50% discount at all Reitmans (Canada) Limited brands (Penningtons, Reitmans & RW&CO.)Generous Employee Referral Policy.If this inspires you…let’s talk.
