We are looking for a seasoned estimator for heavy civil projects with scopes ranging from $5M to $10B. Base pay range $107,700.00/yr - $162,910.00/yr As a Heavy Civil Senior Estimator, you will review design documents, proposals, specifications and drawings, attend design development meetings, and assess risk and cost impacts. You will collaborate with a knowledgeable and supportive team to prepare estimates, develop work breakdown structures, perform detailed take‑offs, assist contract staff, apply construction methods, calculate indirect and owner costs, and meet deadlines. Responsibilities Develop capital cost estimates for transportation and transit projects. Review contractor proposals for various procurement types. Review and validate change orders. Interface with external clients during presentation of capital costs. Maintain organized and detailed files, project records and logs. Attend project meetings as required. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Progressive and successful cost estimating experience in transportation projects. Proficient use of MS Office, HCSS (HeavyBid) estimating software and BlueBeam. Preferred Qualifications Bachelors' degree in engineering, construction management or a related field. At least 8-20 years of estimating and construction experience related to heavy civil construction. Alternative delivery procurement experience. Understanding of the relationship between cost, risk, and schedule. Certifications such as a CEP, CCP, PMP, or CCM are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
