Collections Manager

Responsibilities
- Streamline and improve collection processes, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
- Lead invoice collection efforts in alignment with company standards and metrics.
- Forecast weekly cash flow and monitor transactions to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive procedures for managing receivables and payables.
- Ensure legal compliance in debt collection practices and manage special payment arrangements.
- Act as a liaison between the Accounting team and external partners, addressing inquiries and managing premium financing receipts.
- Participate in compliance reviews and audits, maintaining a standardized document management system.
- Lead, develop, and manage the Collections Team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in collections within a fast-paced administrative or accounting environment.
- Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a growing company environment, with strict adherence to deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and dispute-resolution abilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and teamwork, with a commitment to developing internal and external relationships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with client relationship management software.
- Knowledge of collection strategies and experience with financial management systems like Epic are advantageous.
- Previous experience in the insurance sector is a plus.
