The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing HR support to our clients in Northwestern Ontario.Company and Location:Northern Peak HR Consulting:The position will be based in Thunder Bay with significant travel within the region.Duties and Responsibilities:Create and provide guidance on all Human Resources policies, ensuring they align with legislative requirements.Develop and deliver training sessions on a variety of human resources topics to enhance both employee knowledge and compliance.Oversee and ensure health and safety compliance for client workplaces.Support initiatives aimed at improving employee relations as well as organizational culture.Lead recruitment efforts for clients, from job postings to the selection of qualified candidates.Clearly communicate human resources policies and procedures to staff, ensuring transparency together with consistency.Manage client documentation and maintain accurate, up-to-date records.Conduct investigations related to workplace issues, including harassment and misconduct.Finally, facilitate new employee orientation and provide administrative training to ensure a smooth onboarding process.Required Qualifications:Minimum three years of Human Resources experience.Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.Experience in conflict resolution, labour relations, and employee relations is an asset.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
