SummaryThe main responsibility of the Health & Safety Specialist is to encourage and ensure the continuous improvement of Health and Safety performance by:
- Regular auditing
- Producing actions plans
- Identifying key risks
- Producing reports
- Working with operations leaders to ensure full compliance
You will provide advice and guidance on Health & Safety matters across the organization and with our Agency Partners; study accident trends from near miss information and target areas for improvement; deliver Health and Safety training, and work with the operations team on specific projects.

Primary Responsibilities- Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations
- Be available to resolve issues and spend time coaching on the production floor
- Provide advice regarding the development of safe and healthy practices
- Be up to date with new legislation and maintain a working knowledge of all H&S legislation and any developments that affect FGF
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of incidents including root-cause analysis and provide probable causes of incidents and recommendations for resolution and appropriate corrective and preventative measures
