Derivatives Lawyer We are seeking a Derivatives Lawyer to join our expanding bench of legal professionals supporting top-tier clients in the financial services sector. This role is ideal for a motivated lawyer with experience advising on derivatives, trading, and capital markets transactions, and a strong understanding of Canadian securities and derivatives regulation. Responsibilities Draft, negotiate, and advise a variety of derivatives and trading agreements.Provide legal advice on regulatory, compliance, and transactional issues affecting derivatives and financial markets activities.Support clients in understanding and managing legal and regulatory risks across trading and investment operations.Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business practices and documentation. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in derivatives, trading, or capital markets law, ideally from a major law firm, financial institution and/or in-house legal team.Deep familiarity with Canadian derivatives regulation and related securities law frameworks.Actively licensed and in good standing as a lawyer in a Canadian province.
