We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (IT Infrastructure) to lead and enable the successful execution of IT data center infrastructure/MPLS related projects. We require a highly motivated individual who thrives in an exciting and constantly changing environment, can lead change through cross-functional teams and has the creative and innovative mindset required to get it done.ResponsibilitiesDefines the scope of projects in collaboration with project sponsor(s) and subject matter expertsCreates a detailed work plan, identifying and sequencing activities needed to successfully complete the projectExecutes projects according to project planManages project financials and ensures accurate invoicing and budget documentationProvides leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams and liaise with various internal and external teams.Ensures that roles and responsibilities (internal and external) are clarified and understood.Facilitate, debate and guide decisions on appropriate solutionsIdentify opportunities and drive process improvements, standardization and enablers to gain efficienciesProvide relevant and high-quality communication to stakeholders, executives and team membersEnsures that projects are appropriately resourced and delivered in full and to agreed timescales.Manages project financials and ensures accurate invoicing and budget documentationComplies with project governance, communications and change control standards, storing related documentation in shared team repositories.Delivers timely project status reporting.Carries out lessons learnt for each project to demonstrate continuous improvements and drive business change.Qualifications10+ years of experience in Project ManagementAbility to translate and communicate complex issues and their resolution to stakeholders and senior management and be a thought leaderExperience with management of projects related to Data Center infrastructure (servers,switches, routers, LAN, firewalls), Cloud Computing, NetworkingUnderstand high-level technical architectureAbility to liaise with technical and non-technical staffBe organized, highly effective at problem solving and have outstanding influencing and negotiation skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and VisioPMP DesignationThis is a minimum 12 month contract with likely extension located in downtown Toronto (work from home until deemed safe) #J-18808-Ljbffr
