In addition, Applied provides engineering, design and systems integration for industrial, fluid power, and flow control applications, as well as customized mechanical, fabricated rubber, fluid power, and flow control shop services.Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Sales Representative at our Stoney Creek, ON location.In this relationship-based sales role you will report to the General Manager and will assist in maintaining commitments as we expand. You will grow your territory (and your earnings) by bringing in new business and developing repeat business relationships within your existing accounts. This will require that you call on engineers, maintenance, purchasing, and others to determine their needs through a consultative approach to help clients achieve superior performance.The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible ForResponsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territoryProspect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefitsDevelops strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage the customers’ business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers and deliver the appropriate value proposition strategyWork with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospectsRespond to customer product inquiriesEngage in direct sales activitiesPromote existing and new productsAnticipate client direction and objectivesManage a robust sales territoryMaintain cooperative and productive team relationshipsAttend training and sales meetings as requiredMeet or exceed sales targetsPreference will be given to candidates who possess the following qualifications:Preference will be given to individuals that show mechanical aptitude and have experience in industrial and agricultural type salesBe sales and service orientedConduct themselves in a professional mannerHave good organizational skillsAbility to prospect for new clientsAbility to utilize technology to source and find components and informationMaintain customer relations and build new relationshipsAnalytical and problem solving capabilityStrong communication skills both written and verbalMust be able to build relationships with inside sales forceProven ability to work in a team environmentSelf motivated and the ability to work independentlyDeliver on growth and profitabilityMeet or beat annual sales goalsEnthusiasm and desire to contribute to a winning cultureYou Will Be Part Of a Stable And Established Company With Consistently Strong Performance And Growth.
