Levitt-Safety is hiring for a Service Supervisor to lead a growing team in delivering critical life safety services in the Val-d'Or region. About the Role: As the Service Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for leading and expanding our Vehicle Fire Suppression System (VFSS) and Fire Life Safety service operations. This hands‑on role combines team leadership, safety management, operational oversight, and business development. You'll guide a team of skilled technicians, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and help drive growth in this essential service area. What You’ll Do: Lead, mentor, and support a team of VFSS and Fire Life Safety technicians. Provide coaching, performance feedback, and regular training to maintain high service standards. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and safety‑driven work environment. Ensure all team certifications are current and provide technical training as needed. Independently plan team resources to meet customer and work demands. Conduct safety orientations, lead toolbox talks, and enforce safety protocols. Promote reporting of near‑misses, complete hazard assessments, and ensure safety compliance. Conduct monthly building audits and home inspections. Drive a zero‑incident culture with consistent mentoring and oversight. Oversee vehicle and equipment maintenance in compliance with FOSS standards. Conduct tool and equipment audits, ensuring a clean and organized shop. Manage inventory, forecast material needs, and coordinate with internal teams on project planning. Support field service work as required and maintain budget targets. Identify and pursue opportunities to grow service revenue in VFSS and Fire Life Safety. Maintain strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service experiences. Collaborate with coordinators to optimize scheduling and project efficiency. What You Bring to the Role: Proven leadership experience in a service, technical, or field‑based role. Strong technical background in VFSS and Fire Life Safety systems. Self‑motivated with a proactive and entrepreneurial approach. Deep commitment to health and safety excellence. Ability to manage priorities, budgets, and customer expectations. Bilingual in French and English is a must You will support a strong safety culture and service team by being a part of regular safety meetings, ensuring adherence to safe work practices, and proactively identifying and addressing hazards. This role models safe behavior, works closely with the Quality team to uphold service standards and contributes to incident prevention and continuous improvement in safety performance. Proficiency in both French and English is required for this position to effectively meet the needs of our Francophone and Anglophone customers, with a priority on serving our French‑speaking clientele in compliance with Quebec’s Charter of the French Language. This bilingual requirement also ensures our team can access and understand technical information in English provided by our national and international manufacturers and suppliers.
