As the Systems Developer you will be a driving member of an integral team responsible for developing system‑based solutions by formulating programs, developing and maintaining code and documenting processes for consistency and continuous improvement. You will contribute to a range of highly complex and diverse team initiatives and provide training and support to the members of your team. Technologies You Have Experience With You have experience with at least one of the Guidewire suite of products – PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter. You have experience with JIRA, JIRA Service Desk and Confluence or similar tools. Having experience with Guidewire plugins, Message Broker, REST/SOAP services is an asset. Experience with UiPath automation is an asset. How You Will Create Impact Supporting the team in various responsibilities including estimating assigned tasks, completing status reports, and creating and maintaining technical documentation. Participating in the design and execution of program coding to implement features of small to medium complexity. Contributing to an implementation and back‑out plan for a single system. Performing unit testing for developed code, supporting system and user acceptance testing and resolving defects by troubleshooting root causes. Learning relevant Information Technology (IT) standards, methodologies, processes and tools and contributing to project reviews. Fostering productive relationships with Information Technology (IT) business partners and communicating analysis and results accordingly. To Join Our Team You have three years of experience in Information Technology or a related field. You have completed post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. You have 1+ years experience in Object Oriented Programming languages using JAVA technology. You use critical thinking skills to recognize assumptions, evaluate arguments, draw conclusions, and proactively propose solutions.
