The IEQ department at Pinchin provides specialized IEQ services, such as indoor air quality investigations, Legionella consulting, radon consulting, microbial contamination post‑flood/fire consulting, and infection control, to support our Clients’ operations and project needs. Our team provides a unique opportunity. The Hamilton office has an established team with a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experience to share. Pinchin is seeking a Project Manager to join our IEQ team in Hamilton, ON. The role reports to the Operations Manager and is being filled as a replacement role. This Is An Ideal Opportunity If You Are looking to expand your professional development beyond the project level Enjoy working with and developing relationships with various client and peer groups Find satisfaction in providing effective coaching and leadership to your project team Role Overview In this role you will work with closely with the Hamilton Pinchin team to help clients maintain healthier indoor spaces. Day to day, you will be a key point of contact for a variety of clients across multiple sectors, which will include assessing conditions in the field, as well as managing projects, and creating relationships with both existing and new clientele. You will collaborate closely with colleagues, including more junior members of the team, and clients to understand their goals and deliver solutions that reflect quality, integrity, and care. This is meaningful work with real impact, and you will grow your skills while contributing to projects that make buildings and environments better. Your Role and Action Continual development and maintenance of positive business relationships with new and existing Clients Preparation and review of proposals for IEQ projects Effectively manage projects start to finish, including acting as a liaison between clients, contractors and other project stakeholders; scope and proposal development; budgeting; project execution; technical support; review and preparation of deliverables; financial performance, and quality control Supervise and coordinate subcontractor performance and remediation activities Lead and supervise project coordinators and technologists in their job functions and career growth Train and mentor junior staff, including on the execution of established standard operating procedures and the review of written reports Maintain and enhance quality control of our deliverables following established protocols Collaborate on the effective delivery of projects with project managers and technologists from other divisions and offices Participate in business development and marketing activities for new and existing clients Managing time on projects effectively and efficiently Ensuring the well‑being and safety of workers and building occupants where Pinchin projects are present Diligent management of WIP, invoicing and AR What You Bring To The Pinchin Team A degree, diploma, or certificate in Construction Technology, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, or a Bachelor of Science or Applied Science would be an asset A related certificate or professional designation (PMP, EP, AScT, CRSP, ROH, ROHT.
