Associate Analyst--Bilingual, Commercial Asset Management

Bilingual Associate Analyst, Commercial Asset Management Reporting to: Associate Director and Team Lead, Commercial Asset Management Full‑time Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Office – Downtown Toronto) Responsibilities Obtain and review financial information and requirements to ensure loan criteria are valid with no material adverse changes such as rent rolls, operating statements and financial/net worth statements. Manage assigned mortgage portfolio proactively to ensure all required conditions for commercial mortgages are fulfilled and satisfy investors and CMHC. Work with commercial lending, underwriting and core documents. Review, make recommendations to Senior Management on property insurance renewals and other documentation as required. Understand Mortgage Products and functions within Mortgage Servicing, including document management, payment processing, statements, insurance and annual financial reviews. Adhere to policy and procedures, service levels and compliance. Respond to inquiries and interface with borrowers and stakeholders per servicing and policy standards. Obtain and review solicitor final documentation as per mortgage commitment and update the mortgage system. Ensure mortgage security is valid, legally binding and supporting documents are timely provided by solicitors. Apply problem‑solving skills to resolve issues and meet service standards. Maintain excellent time‑management skills and handle high volumes. Collaborate with the team to recommend and provide process improvements for efficiency. Prioritize, multi‑task and exhibit organizational and problem‑solving skills. Complete special projects as assigned by management. Adhere to policies/procedures to ensure AML requirements are met, where applicable. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce or related preferred. Post‑secondary education and/or equivalent work experience preferred. 2–3 years of experience in Financial Services, Mortgages, preferably in commercial mortgages. Bilingualism (French, English) required – interactions with English‑speaking and French‑speaking clients or partners. Benefits Competitive compensation.
