Barminco Mining Services Canada Ltd. offers the opportunity for seasoned professionals to oversee underground operations as Shift Supervisor. With responsibility for ensuring the safety and efficiency of mining staff, you will mentor your team and lead operational planning. Your knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act will guide daily activities and interactions.
Key Responsibilities: • Lead daily underground mining operations and personnel • Provide training and mentoring in mining best practices • Conduct pre-shift safety and operational meetings • Maintain high standards for work and safety compliance • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of mining equipment
Requirements: • Previous experience as a development shift supervisor • Valid BC ShiftBoss certification necessary • First Aid certification required • Strong communication and decision-making abilities • Ability to handle multiple job assignments simultaneously
