Assistant Project Manager – Urban Earthworks

What you will do Assist the project team with coordination and project support. Utilize your passion for organization through maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents. Effectively collect, review and analyze project quotes with emphasis on obtaining the very best prices in the market. Assemble, attend, document and emphasize the importance of project meetings. Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environmental Protection on the project. Effectively apply the requirements of the project specific safety standards to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E standards, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on the project. This role could be for you Roughly 3+ years’ experience in the ICI construction industry. A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience. Strong knowledge of construction project methodologies, financial management, building codes and associated legislation. A proven track record for project leadership and team collaboration.
