OverviewSecuriguard seeks highly capable security and investigations professionals to join our OFA 2 (OFA -intermediate) Guards Team. If you're enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment, expanding your skill set, and exploring potential law enforcement prospects, this opportunity is for you. As part of this team, you'll operate within select retail stores, responsible for apprehending shoplifters, tracking repeat offenders, and gathering intelligence on ongoing crime activities.QualificationsValid BC Security Worker License (Required)OFA 2/Intermediate (Required), extensive experience dealing with first aid emergenciesAbility to complete incident reports on a daily basisMust be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when requiredAbility to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanorExcellent judgment and decision-making abilityExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictateSite is not transit friendly, a valid driver\'s license and a personal vehicle is a MUSTCompensation$23/hrEmployee Perks We OfferPaid TrainingFlexible hoursExtended Health Benefits for P/T & F/T Employees (subject to benefit waiting periods)Employee Assistance Program through TELUS Babylon.
