Job Summary Position: Research Analyst Reports to: Local Manager Responsible for supporting the development of local research output and thought leadership. The Analyst gathers and analyzes local market data, identifies market trends, and produces research deliverables for pitch or proposal materials. The role maintains proprietary and third‑party databases and pulls data to support thought leadership and forecast development. Roles and Responsibilities Gather, analyze, interpret, and present real estate trends and information for business development, client support, and internal analysis. Compile and distribute research in narratives, graphics, and data summaries to internal stakeholders (brokers, property managers, marketing). Generate market reports or collateral based on statistical analysis. Interface with national research resources to produce standardized market reports and customized client research. Educate internal clients on available research tools and resources. Develop and maintain a proprietary commercial real estate database with current data. Create and analyze spreadsheets to generate graphs, tables, and written recommendations to the Director of Research. Generate statistics, tables, and graphs for quarterly market and statistical reports. Create quarterly market reports with written analysis explaining statistics and market activity, including drafting quarterly write‑ups. Compile statistical data specific to clients or service line by translating and converting data to graphs, tables, and charts. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred). Power BI skills are a plus. 1+ year of real‑estate research or related business experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in data entry/data management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong data‑software application skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently to meet goals and objectives. Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective listening and critical‑thinking skills. Compensation $68,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year, depending on collective bargaining agreement, geographic area, market pay rates, and experience. Cushman & Wakefield does not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
