Design engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for their growing team in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON offices. Salary range is $90,000 – $120,000. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role.Responsibilities of Electrical Project Manager:Works with the Management Team (headed by Managing Principal) to control and coordinate business development, sales/marketing, team targets, team personnel, technical design and related activitiesDevelops, establishes, and administers procedures and systems pertaining to team management mattersPrepares work load, sales forecasts and team resources/schedule for administrative and managerial functionsServes as the principle liaison with selected clients or major projectsUpholds and maintains design standards and will be responsible for engineering, specifications, documentation, standardization, quality assurance, cost and value analysis and the broader aspects of Division 16 electrical building services (plus role of Managing Consultant as required).Electrical Project Manager forms a viable part of the management team and is responsible for managing his/her respective Project Design Team for the company.Povides technical support and management resources essential for design decision-making and team management accountability.Fully responsible and accountable for all his/her respective design team staff.Electrical Project Manager will review staffing regularly and distribute tasks effectively and consistent with staff skill sets.Assist with Human Resources and make recommendations for staff hiring, terminations and issues related to performance discipline.Requirements of Electrical Project Manager:Electrical Project Manager will have a minimum 10 years of specific HV, LV, control and lighting design experienceSuperior interpersonal skills with clients and staffCommunication and Coaching skillsMinimum of Project Management experienceDemonstrated leadership abilitiesProfessional Engineer (C.Eng., P.Eng. or equivalent)LEED AccreditationIdeal Candidate:Only candidates with authorisation to work in Canada will be consideredPlease clearly highlight relevant work experience, project overviews and project scale ($) in your resume. #J-18808-Ljbffr
