Onex’ two primary businesses are Private Equity and Credit. In Private Equity, we raise funds from third‑party investors and invest them, along with Onex’ own investing capital, through the funds of our private equity platforms: Onex Partners and ONCAP. Similarly, in Credit, we raise and invest capital across several private credit, liquid credit and public equity strategies. Our investors include a broad range of global clients, including public and private pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, family offices and high net worth individuals. The Opportunity The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. This individual will work closely with Relationship Managers and Executive Assistants to coordinate schedules, logistics, and follow‑up activities, helping ensure seamless client coverage and team collaboration. Teamwork and communication are essential to success in this role, as the Analyst will partner with colleagues across geographies and strategies to deliver timely and accurate support. This person will be based in Toronto. Key Responsibilities Assistwithresearchandthepreparationofbriefingmaterials,clientbackgrounders,andmeetingnotes. UpdateandmaintainCRMsystemswithaccurateandtimelyclientinformation. PartnerwithExecutiveAssistantsandRelationshipManagerstocoordinateschedules,meetinglogistics,andfollow-ups. Supportthepreparationofinvestorevents,roadshows,andinternalpresentations. CollaboratewithcolleaguesacrossCoverageandProjectManagementonresearch,datacollection,andcoordinationtasks. Monitorindustryandclient-relatednewstoproviderelevantupdatestotheteam. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will bring a strong service orientation, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit to the Investor Coverage team. This individual will: Thrive in a collaborative team environment by openly sharing information, supporting colleagues, and working toward common objectives. Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information. Exhibit a solutions‑oriented mindset, raising questions and offering ideas that improve efficiency and impact. Additional Requirements 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial services, investor relations, client service, or a related field. Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage competing deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems and AI tools. Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
