Maintenance Electrician – 442A Certified Can Art Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a 442A Certified Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Brampton, ON. This full‑time position offers competitive pay and follows a 12‑hour continental shift, rotating days and nights with every other weekend off. Safety, teamwork and development are core values at Can Art. We provide hands‑on training and a supportive work environment where your skills are valued. Authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship is required. What You’ll Do Install, troubleshoot, test, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control devices. Perform regular preventative maintenance to reduce downtime. Work with PLC systems (primarily Allen‑Bradley) to diagnose and resolve issues. Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Maintain clear, accurate maintenance records. Assist in training apprentices or less experienced team members. A team‑focused culture where your work truly matters. What You Bring Valid 442A Industrial Electrician license (349A considered with strong industrial experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Experience with electrical troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and PLC diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and code specifications. Experience in metal processing, die casting, or stamping is a strong asset.
