Conduct meetings with prospective and existing clients. Review current financial state and gather long‑term goals. Build a financial roadmap to help clients achieve goals. Recommend and implement suitable insurance and investment products aligned with the roadmap. Continue meeting clients to keep plans updated as life situations change. Ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry changes. Obtain professional accreditations and designations throughout career (e.g., CFP). Network within community through ongoing marketing, referrals, and networking activities. Qualifications College/University degree and some professional experience. Has a history of achievement (professional, academic, athletics). Enjoys engaging, developing, and maintaining relationships with people. Is disciplined, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented with a strong work ethic. Is a continuous learner with deep interest in helping others. Excellent communication skills. Assets (optional) Demonstrated ability to motivate others to action. Business development skills. LLQP and/or Mutual Fund license or course/exam completion. To be contracted as a Sun Life advisor, you must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
