Reporting to the Director of Field Operations, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for duct cleaning and maintenance on residential heating, air conditioning, and water heating systems. This role involves conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of HVAC systems. This individual plays a crucial role in maintaining optimal indoor air quality, extending the lifespan of HVAC systems, and contributing to customer experiences.

Responsibilities:

This position will include, but not be limited to the following:

  1. Duct Cleaning: Perform duct cleaning in residential homes using portable vacuum and high-pressured air
  2. HVAC Tune Ups: Complete inspection and cleaning of residential gas furnaces, central air conditioning units, and safety checks on residential HVAC systems
  3. Customer Solutions: Recommend and explain services needed to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment, share safety check results with homeowners, and make them aware of any hazards
  4. Customer Experience: Ensure customers are comfortable, understand the work conducted, explain services provided, and what will need to be done to prolong system lifespan
  5. Safety: Actively participate in the company safety program, maintain cooperation to OH&S guidelines, conduct daily vehicle inspections, and basic vehicle maintenance
Qualifications:

Minimum 3-year driver’s license with clean abstract, problem-solving skills, positive attitude, team player, strong organizational skills, customer/member service oriented
