The MSL will develop Medical Sciences plans, including KOL engagement, and build KOL support with a scientific approach aligned with the Commercial strategy and therapeutic area objectives. The MSL will be a credible scientific resource for LEO Pharma in interactions with key stakeholders across their assigned regions. This is a field-based role. The ideal candidate will be based in Quebec, have prior MSL experience, and be bilingual (French/English).Your ResponsibilitiesKOL Engagement and Development: provide regional scientific leadership through credible engagement with KOLs and as a subject matter expert; develop and maintain relationships with Dermatology KOLs in the region that are important for LEO products.Mapping, identification, and segmentation of KOLs in the region; engage KOLs with credible, fair-balanced, scientific information about LEO products, LEO research activities, and LEO product development initiatives.Develop an engagement plan for each KOL, including speaking or clinical research opportunities, and build strong relationships to foster advocates and Scientific Champions for LEO products.Collaborate with the Commercial Team and cross-functional partners to coordinate KOL engagement across functions.Be a trusted source of balanced medical information for HCPs, able to address safety questions and off-label use based on available scientific data.Provide scientific support to cross-functional partners, including support for formulary submissions for new products.Contribute regional scientific insights to the Integrated Scientific Affairs Plan (iSAP) and define engagement strategy for each KOL across the product lifecycle.Plan territory actions in collaboration with the MSL Manager and/or Medical Advisor, including KOL segmentation, prioritization, engagement model, metrics for engagement frequency, and competitive intelligence collection.Maintain up-to-date scientific knowledge and be an expert on their products and therapeutic area through literature review, key scientific meetings, LEO training, and preceptorships.Develop presentations and assist with publications, posters, and other scientific communications.Communicate with Medical, Patient Solutions, and Commercial Business managers, sharing field insights in a compliant manner, including KOL insights, site profiling, and competitive intelligence.Assist the Medical Advisor in LEO clinical research initiatives, including global clinical development.Your QualificationsMedical Doctorate (MD), PhD, or PharmD preferred.Minimum Master’s degree in life sciences with a focus on immunology and/or healthcare professional background.Thorough knowledge of the healthcare system, disease management and clinical research.Dermatology therapeutic area knowledge; biologics experience is an asset.Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills (including ability to network).Proven ability to develop and foster peer-to-peer relationships with stakeholders.Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision in a changing environment.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including nights and weekends.Ability to summarize clinical data and literature, communicate evidence to HCPs to expand understanding of LEO products.Ability to conduct scientific literature research and to write reports, papers, and research protocols.Solid understanding of GCP, IMC code and healthcare compliance policies and procedures.Excellent teaching skills and ability to present and discuss scientific material clearly.Version françaiseVotre rôleL'agent de liaison en sciences médicales (MSL) sera chargé de fournir à divers clients externes et internes des renseignements médicaux et scientifiques sur l'utilisation appropriée de produits LEO et des informations sur leur domaine thérapeutique et l'état pathologique.
