We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employee‑focused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. 🌿 What You’ll Do Lead and support field programs focused on vegetation, wetlands, and Species at Risk (SAR) Conduct vegetation assessments using Ecological Land Classification (ELC) and Ontario Wetland Evaluation System (OWES) Carry out botanical inventories, vegetation monitoring, and targeted SAR flora assessments (e.g., Butternut and Black Ash health assessments) Delineate ecological features (wetlands, woodlands, etc.) Support or lead wildlife surveys (e.g., anuran surveys, SAR bat habitat assessments, acoustic monitoring) Compile, analyze, and interpret ecological data to inform impact assessments and mitigation strategies Prepare clear, accurate reports and contribute to multidisciplinary project documentation Engage with clients, Indigenous communities, and regulatory agencies Collaborate with colleagues across departments and regions Take on other duties as assigned—every day is different 🌻 What You’ll Bring University degree or equivalent experience in Ecology, Biology, Botany, or a related field 2–5 years of relevant experience (internships/co‑op placements count) Strong field botany skills and a passion for Ontario’s flora Training/certification in ELC and OWES protocols (or applied experience) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office suite Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle Willingness to work outdoors, sometimes in remote locations and outside standard hours Ability to work independently and as part of a team, even under tight deadlines Commitment to health and safety Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to make a difference in environmental consulting 🚀 Ready to Grow with Us?
