The Role The Studio Photographer will be on-site during University photo sessions to photograph university students. This is a full time position based in Kingston, Ontario. What You Will Focus On Opening and closing the studio Meter photography lights and make adjustments where necessary Set up of photoshoot props such as gowns and graduation props Assist with the coordination of photo day at the University to ensure the sessions run efficiently Photograph University graduates inside the studio and outdoors Other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Photography experience not required, but preferred Strong customer focus and organization skills Ability to work independently and deal with multiple and changing priorities Experience working with students is an asset Experience working in customer service is an asset Successful candidates require reliable car with the ability to carry photographic equipment As this position involves working with students, the successful applicants must pass a Vulnerable Sector Check Must be legally authorized to work in Canada What’s In It For You Paid personal days Casual dress code Fun and work hard play hard environment Anticipated Hours of Work Monday to Sunday Daytime and Evenings 30 - 40 hours per week Physical Requirements & Work environment Ability to lift up to 40lbs Ability to push up to 80 lbs Ability to stand, walk and bend repetitively for extended periods of time Travel may be required within a specified region University environment We would like to thank all applicants in advance.
