Quality Engineering Lead

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance lifecycle Testing Lead with hands‑on experience in Selenium and Playwright using JavaScript to join our Quality Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and ensuring high‑quality releases across our web applications. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in lieu of one year of education). At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. At least 4 years of working experience in QA testing. Location: Montreal, QC. 3 to 10+ years of test automation experience, with at least 1 year using Selenium. Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript. Experience with CI/CD tools and integrating tests into pipelines. Familiarity with REST API testing and tools like Postman or Playwright’s API capabilities. Understanding of test design patterns (e.g., Page Object Model). Experience with version control systems (Git). Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Preferred Experience Develop and maintain end‑to‑end test automation using Selenium. Collaborate with developers and product owners to define test strategies and acceptance criteria. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Perform functional, regression, smoke, and API testing. Identify, document, and track bugs; contribute to root‑cause analysis. Monitor test execution, analyze failures, and maintain test stability. Ensure cross‑browser and cross‑platform compatibility testing. Contribute to test data management and environment setup. Good to have Experience with Test Management tools (e.g., TM4J, Zephyr). Demonstrated ability to work under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The job entails Sitting at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face‑to‑face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. Trois années d’expérience progressive dans la spécialité peuvent être considérées en remplacement d’une année d’études. Minimum 4 ans d’expérience en technologies de l’information. Minimum 4 ans d’expérience en tests QA. Le poste est basé à Montréal, QC. 3 à 10+ ans d’expérience en automatisation des tests, dont au moins 1+ an avec Selenium. Solide maîtrise de JavaScript ou TypeScript. Expérience avec les outils CI/CD et intégration des tests dans les pipelines. Familiarité avec les tests d’API REST et des outils tels que Postman ou les fonctionnalités API de Playwright. Compréhension des modèles de conception de tests (ex. : Page Object Model). Assurer la compatibilité multi‑navigateurs et multi‑plateformes. Contribuer à la gestion des données de test et à la configuration des environnements. Atouts : Expérience avec des outils de gestion des tests (ex. : TM4J, Zephyr). Capacité démontrée à travailler sous pression. Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite.
