What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Director, Events and Experiences , the Senior Consultant is responsible for successful end to end events from strategy , conception through to execution of a variety of thought leadership, lifestyle and sponsorship experiences CIBC Imperial Service, Private Wealth and Asset Management with minimal direction.

Liaising with multiple internal and external key stakeholders to maximize opportunities and differentiate ourselves while providing a seamless, consistent approach to standards and processes associated with CIBC Imperial Service, Private Wealth and Asset Management.

How you'll succeed

• Strategic Vision & Oversight - Lead the strategic development and management of customized national events and experiences . Lead the planning and execution of national events and experiences (in person or virtual) . N egotiation of event partnerships and contracts. Manage budgets ensuring effective allocation of funds to maximize impact and meet business objectives . Provide consultative services to the build and execution of other business lead events and experiences . Research and stay current of industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge and drive continuous differentiation and improvement.

• Event Management - Support and manage event and experiences content plans in partnership with the experts, presenters and content/ social team to help promote and optimize across various marketing channels . Plan and coordinate logistics for both small and large in person events and provide on-site execution support on delivery. Travel will be required . This will also include confirming accommodations, locations, vendors, set-up, travel schedules, staging, food & beverage and show coordination. Conduct detailed briefings and on-going communication for all projects.

• Relationship Management - Proactively research and analyze various industry and/or sponsorship opportunities for Imperial Service , Private Wealth and Asset Management lead Socialize and execute enterprise sponsorship assets in partnerships with Imperial Service and Private Wealth leadership and regional managing director s. Create process and analyze event program results based on insights, metrics and learnings to develop recommendations to senior management for future activations . Work closely with external event vendors when establishing and monitoring service agreements and defining event service requirements. Cultivate, build and maintain strong relationships with different CIBC senior management, including VP’s and Regional Heads of Imperial Service, Private Wealth, Asset Management and Corporate Marketing groups, to establish and maintain key relationships .

• You can demonstrate experience at least 5+ years’ experience in leading and managing events It’s an asset if you have project management experience.

• Knowledge of financial services industry, with specific focus on Private Wealth and/or Asset Management, is an asset.
